To
access the Fitrix Documentation Guide:
Find your computer type in the list below and
follow the instructions:
From any Windows PC:
1. Log
on to Windows
2. Insert
the Fitrix CD
3. If
the CD auto loads proceed to step number 4
a. Click
'Start' (The start menu)
b. Click
'Run'
c. Click
'Browse'
d. Locate
the CD Drive (open the 'Look In:' list and click 'Fitrix…'.)
4. Double
Click 'documentation'
5. Double
Click 'documentation_guide.htm'
6. Click 'OK' from the run command
From any Linux system:
- Position to the
(Graphical) window (usually 'Control-Alt-F7')
- Log on
- Insert the Fitrix CD
- If the CD auto loads
proceed to step number 5
- Open a character session
- Enter: su, followed
by the root password
- Mount the cd from
the '#' prompt: mount -o ro,lower -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
- Position to the
GNOME (Graphical) window (usually 'Control-Alt-F7')
- Launch the File
Manager (Start menu ->Programs ->File Manager)
- In the location
field, enter: /mnt/cdrom/documentation <press enter>
- Double Click
'documentation_guide.htm' (in the File Manager window)
From a Macintosh PC:
- Insert the Fitrix CD
- (the CD should load
automatically)
- Click 'documentation'
- Click 'documentation_guide.htm'
