Linux Host Uninstall - Detailed Instructions

 Access a character login on the Linux Host system where you plan to de-install the Fitrix Linux host software:

• Press control+alt+F2 (this should position you to a character login )

Login as ‘root’:

Login: root

Password: <enter your root password here>

Run the de-installation script:

$ cd /

$ /fitrix/bin/uninstall.sh <press enter>

Remove …/fitrix {Yes/No} Yes <press enter>

(Note that you must type the word 'Yes' exactly as shown to perform the de-installation, that is capital-Y, lowercase 'es')

You will see a few status messages, then

Remember to manually delete user 'informix' (userdel) and group 'informix' (groupdel).

Uninstall complete

$ exit <press enter>
